Quick Update

Just to update,

Lacey is doing well in school and is really enjoying it. Right now for track they are lifting everyday and she polevaults every saturday. She is looking forward to trying the heptathlon.

Cassi is the starting setter on the jv volleyball team at westwood. They have a record so far of 2-2. Last saturday and Friday, Sept. 11th and 12th, all of the jv players had to referee for the "Tournament of Champions". She reffed all day both days. She had the best time coming home afterwards announcing she wants to be a volleyball referee when she grows up... NOT, she complained and stressed over it all weekend and complained all day to Lacey since the rest of the family was in Cali.

Calvin enjoyed vacationing to california with mom and dad. When he came home he had a huge surprise waiting for him. Jacob bought a new computer! Calvin has been glued to it ever since.

Lacey's 18th b-day

This Sunday was Lacey's 18th birthday! She spent Saturday in California, soakin' up the sun on Huntington beach with her beau. She had a great time shopping at Jacks surf shop and playing in the waves.. Sunday we had a pancake breakfast and she got a wicked sweet purse and a super cute shirt. "Best birthday of my life!!" says Lacey.

First Day of School

Cassi is now starting her first year of high school at Westwood. She is trying out for the volleyball team as a setter. When asked how her first day of school went she answered,"I hate it and I dont suggest it to anyone." Suggest what exaclty?..."Westwood" she replies. Im sure she'll start liking it eventually.

As for Calvin, he came home singing a different tune. He really likes his choir teacher and really enjoys his shop class already. He isn't too fond of P.E. He is a 7th grader at Kino Jr. High.

Kentucky Trip

We went to Kentucky to help jade decorate her new home (top). While in Kentucky we visited an amish community (middle). We also took a tour of churchill downs, home of the Kentucky derby (bottom). It was perfect weather with around tempature of 75 to 80 degrees! Which was very nice compared to the usual 115 degrees in Arizona.

Miss America

this was our most recent event. Lacey was in the National American Miss Pageant. As you can see by all the trophy's she did really well.
